Having difficulty with your math class? CRLS
offers a wide range of resources to help students with their academics.
Students having difficulty and/or questions in their math class are
encouraged to take advantage of the following:
- Arrange with your math teacher to meet with them outside of class (before or after school).
- Visit the Homework Center
in the CRLS Pearl K. Wise Library which is open Tuesday, Wednesday,
and Thursday from 2:30 - 4:30PM. The Homework Center is staffed
with classroom teachers from every department including at least one
math teacher every day. Questions about the Homework Center should be
directed to Homework Center Co-Directors Alysa Breyer and Cris Nemitz.
- Get a tutor in the Cambridge School Volunteers Tutoring Center. The CSV Tutoring Center is located in Room# 2132. The center is staffed full-time by Director James Duche.
Tutors are volunteers from the greater Cambridge community and students
work one-on-one as scheduled with their tutor on a weekly and/or daily
basis.
- Looking for last minute answers?...Visit Drop-In Math available
every day from 7:30 - 8AM in the CSV Tutoring Center (Room# 2132).
- Contact Jeff Gaglione,
Mathematics Dean of Curriculum at 617.349.6650 for a list of private
tutors who have worked with CRLS students in the past.
